Selective Search - Executive search meets personal matchmaking

Our Process

Meet Your Future® is a registered trademark of Selective Search and is a proprietary asset of the Company used for matching successful, commitment-minded men and women who are looking to find the love of their life. The Meet Your Future® matchmaking process combines executive recruiting methodologies and sophisticated search algorithms with matchmaking intuition to create a holistic approach to each search.

Where Executive Recruiting Meets Personal Matchmaking®

1 Intake

During Intake our matchmaking experts conduct in-person Client assessments and interviews to ascertain what type of partner and relationship dynamic will be most compatible for the Client. We learn from your personal history – your likes, dislikes, and what has and hasn’t worked for you in past relationships – as well as what is best for you. We get to know each individual on a very personal level.

2 Benchmarks

We develop Client-approved Benchmarks, which outline the Client’s preferences and deal breakers. Benchmark phase includes exploring as many as 110 key personal, professional, and social indicators. The purpose of the Benchmarks is to focus the scope of the search, but not to constrain it. As relationship experts, Selective Search matchmakers are trained to identify the potential compatibility of a couple beyond the obvious indicators. These Benchmarks are a “living document” and will evolve as the search process continues.

3 Screening

Selective Search matchmakers and Affiliate relations experts conduct personal interviews to screen each match. During Screening, Affiliates undergo the same comprehensive assessment that our Clients do, and are only selected if they have maximum compatibility. This screening process also allows matchmakers to evaluate factors like personality, values, emotional availability, body language, and physical appearance that would be lost in an online experience.

4 Presentation

The matchmaker puts together a comprehensive presentation of Affiliate information for the Client. The presentation details pertinent facts about the Affiliate, along with recent photos. With this intelligence, the Client can make an informed decision whether to pursue the match or continue the search. This screening process is customized for each Client, and will include necessary inquiries to ascertain important information relevant to the Client’s search.

5 Selection

The Client and Affiliate are introduced for a date. We only introduce our Clients to must-meet candidates who we believe might be “the one.” This is perhaps the most exciting phase, when Client and Affiliate meet in person. A date provides a venue for each individual to develop a comprehensive idea of chemistry, personality, and lifestyle, as well as gauge physical attraction.

6 Evaluation

After the Date, both the Client and the Affiliate independently consult with their Selective Search matchmaker. This is the Evaluation phase. The matchmaker encourages each party to discuss how the date went, and asks how they would like to proceed. This phase is especially helpful for both the Client and the Affiliate. As an objective third party, the matchmaker adds value to developing the right relationships. Frequently, Clients and Affiliates learn a lot about each other and themselves during this phase.
